I MasterdoM nascono nell’ Aprile 2005 su idea di Daniele Vento (Tastiera ed ex-Somnium) e dei fratelli gemelli Simone (Batteria) e Thomas Frediani (Chitarra), a cui si aggiungono subito dopo Giuseppe Bifulco (Basso ed ex-Somnium) e Mirko Carrubba (Chitarra). La ricerca del cantante è breve: dopo una settimana Iacopo Farnocchia, anch’esso ex componente dei Somnium, entra stabilmente nel gruppo come cantante.

Inizialmente il genere proposto è un Power / Epic Metal dotato di forte personalità ma dopo la stesura delle prime tracce Mirko Carrubba lascia la band (causa impegni lavorativi) e viene prontamente sostituito da Simone Del Carlo.

Il 2006 è l’anno della prima Demo, dal titolo “Angelic Riot”; la stagione 2006 / 2007 vede il gruppo esibirsi in numerosi concerti partecipando inoltre a diversi concorsi tra cui il “Cencio’s Contest”, arrivando sempre nelle fasi finali (classificati al secondo posto nelle finali regionali dell’ Emergenza Festival 2008 e nei primi 15 del Summer Giovani Festival 2008).

Nel luglio 2007 il bassista Giuseppe Bifulco abbandona la band (per motivi di studio) e viene rimpiazzato da Davide Paganin (ex-Damnati Capite); nello stesso periodo i MasterdoM decidono di abbandonare il Power / Epic Metal precedentemente suonato per dedicarsi ad un Heavy Metal di stampo “classico” ma caratterizzato da influenze Hard Rock, Progressive ed elementi Power / Synphonic Metal  : Tutto ciò causa inevitabilmente la cancellazione del repertorio eseguito precedentemente (alcuni brani sono stati totalmente ricostruiti).

In sede Live la band propone principalmente pezzi propri e covers di gruppi storici quali “Black Sabbath”, “Deep Purple”, “Manowar”, “UFO”, ma anche di bands più recenti come i “Lordi” e “Teräsbetoni”.

Nell’arco 2008 / 2009 (dopo un anno di silenzio dalla scena per creare nuovo repertorio) i MasterdoM ricominciano ad esibirsi toccando molti locali Toscani e, nel mese di Novembre, pubblicano la seconda Demo ,“The Metal Goddess”.

Nell’ Aprile 2010 Davide Paganin esce dal gruppo (problemi logistici) e viene sostituito da Giovanni “Iron” Maida (ex-War Avenger),che solo quattro mesi dopo decide di abbandonare la band causa divergenze personali.

La ricerca del nuovo bassista si conclude dopo un mese e Andrea Moroni (ex-Sammy Curr) entra ufficialmente nella band.

Nel Novembre 2010 esce la nuova Demo dal titolo “Wings of Freedom”, la quale riceve un ottimo riscontro critico ed è attualmente in fase di promozione (è reperibile ad ogni nostro concerto o dal nostro negozio online).

Il periodo 2010/2011 è denso di eventi tra concerti e interviste radio,nel quale i MasterdoM si esibiscono con gruppi di calibro internazionale tra cui Dark Quarterer, Seventh Seal, Renegade, Hollywood Groupies.

Daniele Vento (keyboard, ex Somnium’s member) together with Simone (drums) and Thomas Frediani (guitar) formed the Masterdom band on April 2005, later Giuseppe Bifulco (electric bass, ex Somnium’s member) and Mirko Carrubba (guitar) joined them.

On April 2005, tanks to Daniele and Frediani twins’ idea, The Masterdom band is formed; immediately after Giuseppe Bifulco (electric bass, ex Somnium’s member) and Mirko Carrubba (guitar) joined the group. No much time to wait to find the front-man: a week later Iacopo Farnocchia, ex Somnium’s member too, joined the band as lead vocal.

At the very beginning the genre played was a strong tempered Power/Epic Metal, but after the first drafts, Mirko Carrubba left the band (because of job duties) and is substituted by Simone Del Carlo.

In 2006 the first demo is recorded: “Angelic Riot”. 2006/2007 Season is full of events: the band plays in several concerts and competitions such as “Cencio’s Contest”, always reaching the final stages (second place in the regional Contest Emergenza Festival 2008 and among the first 15 in the Summer Giovani Festival 2008.)

On July 2007 the bass player Giuseppe Bifulco left the band (because of his studies) and is substituted by Davide Paganin (ex Damnati Capite member); in the same period the Masterdom band decided to leave the Power/Epic Metal genre in order to dedicate their music to a “classical” Heavy Metal with Hard Rock,Progressive and Power/Synphonic influences. Some of the previous songs were took our from the repertoire. (some of them were totatlly revised).

On stage the band mainly plays its own music and covers of some “historical” bands, such as “Black Sabbath”, “Deep Purple”, “Manowar”, “UFO”, but also more recent bands like the “Lord”i and “Teräsbetoni”.

In 2008/2009 (after one year of silence from the stage to create a new repertoire) the Masterdom band started to play again in many locations in Tuscany and in November they launched the second Demo, that is “the Metal Goddess”.

On April 2010 Davide Paganin left the band (personal problems) and is substituted by Giovanni Iron Maida (ex War Avenger member).

Who only after 4 months decided to leave the band because of personal and different opinions. After one month a new bass player is found! Andrea Moroni (ex Sammy Curr member) joined the band.

On Novemebr 2010 the new Demo is ready: “Wings of Freedom” is the title and it is positively prized by the critic and it is currently in promotion (it is available at our concerts or at our online shop)

2010 and 2011 are full of duties: events, concerts and radio interviews are daily appointments for the band that plays with international bands such as Dark Quarterer, Seventh Seal, Renegade, Hollywood Groupies.
